DeltaWorkers was created from a need for security. It is estimated that by 2050 the sea level will rise with 3 meters from today's current levels. This will have unprecedented global effects on delta cities, washing away their land and livelihoods.

Project Delta Mumbai focuses on protecting the coastal delta city of Mumbai, India from this devastation. Our team consist of eager water Civil and Water management engineers with diverse educational background to tackle this multifaceted challenge.

Kees is the editor and chief of DeltaWorks and the 'Deltaworks for u' magazine. Kees is a civil specialist in water constructs and the lead project manager of 'Project Delta'.

Bauke is content supervisor and CAD engineer to the sluices and dike complex for 'Project Delta'. Bauke is a water construction specialist and civil engineer.
